I just had the worst experience in my Iowa State life.

I found out why Cy’s Roost has been closed for so long — all the students that had gone to Cy’s before it was closed would have graduated by now, so they wouldn’t blow the whistle on the “new” Cy’s.

I went to their “reopening” last night and, much to my dismay, I found that none of the original Cy’s remained. It was hard enough to swallow their first remodeling, but this is too much. The new owner took the soul of Cy’s and ripped it out.

I used to like going to that bar because of its smallness, but after tonight and seeing what has been done to it, I think it’s safe to say I will never set foot in that bar again.

The new owner of Cy’s Roost took the only good bar in Campustown and ruined it.
