July 2, 2003
“Three days of great family time with my wife and three children. We will play tennis and golf, grill out, do some shopping and try to keep pace with our 16 and 14-year-old daughters and our 12-year-old son.”
— Dan McCarney

“We will probably go to the events at Farm House, Reiman Gardens and watch the fireworks. We may try to do some bike riding and yard work over the weekend.”
— Warren Madden
Vice President of Business and Finance
“I am thinking of running in one of the Fourth of July 5K races being held in central Iowa.”
— Peter Rabideau
Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
“I plan to enjoy the opportunity to do nothing. Maybe see some fireworks and laugh and enjoy.”
— Carol Meeks
Dean of the College of Family and Consumer Sciences
“Kathy and I will be in Ames over the holidays. We are planning some good bike rides, and I will probably be doing some grilling on the patio at the Knoll.”
— Gregory Geoffroy

“If I don’t end up working, it will be a nice day just relaxing and watching fireworks with friends.”
— Mike Banasiak
