The vast majority of Iowa State fans, players and donors do not support Bruce Van De Velde’s recommendation to fire Larry Eustachy. Larry has publicly admitted he made mistakes, has apologized for them and has promised to correct his actions in the future. We should give Eustachy the benefit of the doubt as a member of the Iowa State family. He has already shown he can take the men’s basketball team to an elite level and there is no guarantee that Van De Velde will be able to attract an adequate replacement that will be as successful.
