On behalf of the men of Alpha Tau Omega, I would like to thank Dan Nguyen, Eric Rowley and the entire Daily staff for their commitment to showing the Iowa State community the remarkable life and tragic death of Danny Peterson.

Danny was a devoted member of Alpha Tau Omega, a loyal friend and an outstanding person. Thanks to the Daily, those who did not know him can now at least have an idea as to who this young man was. His life was every bit deserving of the attention it is now receiving, although Danny would say he had done nothing extraordinary.

Danny lived every day to its fullest and he had a profound effect on everyone who knew him. He touched all of our lives and brought smiles to all of our faces. Thanks to the Daily’s efforts, he is now able to do the same to those who never had the privilege of meeting him.
