LETTER: Iowa State and porn not synonymous
April 3, 2003
OK, this is getting ridiculous. It seems like every other day there is a new student getting busted for child pornography charges (and the occasional assistant basketball coach).
Do we really want to be known as CPU — Child Pornography University? Come on, people, let’s get our act together and start downloading normal pornography (participants who are over 18).
If you absolutely can’t adhere to these rules and must give in to your pedophiliac urges, I have two suggestions for you.
One: Print all pictures and burn all videos you have of underage children. Then delete the computer files. It is that simple. As long as you keep the printed pictures and burned disks to yourself, no one will know.
Second suggestion: Stop being sick and get off on normal stuff. Seriously, do you really want to be known as the sixth person to be arrested on child pornography charges?
I want all you sickos to think about this before you download your next file and just leave it to your imagination. That way you save yourself some embarrassment and we can start to disassociate Iowa State with child pornography.
