As a student and representative of Iowa State University I request that you, Larry Eustachy, resign as head basketball coach. Your actions in interacting with opposing teams and excessively partying are inexcusable for being the highest paid individual in the state.

Furthermore, your past salary increases have cost us two of our athletic teams. While I supported the move at the time, the disappointment from The Des Moines Register’s story has changed my mind.

In addition, thousands of younger Iowans look to you as a role model and this image has not been upheld. While I don’t expect you to be perfect, I think your actions took it way over the top.
