IRHA president Twombley resigns
April 2, 2003
In an e-mail addressed to Inter-Residence Hall Association vice president Jessi Raim and the Daily, Keith Twombley announced his resignation as president of the organization Tuesday night. Twombley, who recently suffered symptoms of a heart attack, said in the e-mail he does not have enough time to delegate meetings because of medical bills and increasing school work. He said he had to pick up a second job to pay the bills, not leaving enough time to attend meetings.
A bill calling for Twombley’s impeachment was to be presented at Thursday’s meeting, said David Breutzmann, TRA president. Raim, former vice-president, is now listed on the IRHA Web site as president. Neither Raim nor Twombley could be reached for comment .
