Government of the Student Body presidential and vice-presidential candidates will be presenting their platforms to members of the Inter-Residence Hall Association at Thursday’s meeting.

Candidates Mike Banasiak and Ben Albright, Shawn Faurote and Vicky Lio, and Matt Denner and Jonathan Mullin will address residence hall issues.

Colleen Prosser, Towers Residence Association treasurer, said each executive slate will speak for about five to 10 minutes and will then field questions and concerns from those present.

The purpose for this debate is to make sure IRHA members are informed on the issues before the election, Prosser said.

The representatives will be given the candidates’ Web site addresses and the most important parts of their platforms, she said.

There is an open invitation to residence hall students to attend the meeting and hear what candidates have to say, Prosser said.

Prosser encouraged students to attend. “It is important the candidates’ issues get to all levels in the residence hall,” she said.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Wallace-Wilson conference room.
