Government of the Student Body President-elect Mike Banasiak and Vice President-elect Ben Albright are accepting applications to fill the executive cabinet.

Those interested can apply in the GSB office or on the GSB Web site at www.gsb.iastate.edu. The submission deadline is April 9 and interviews will be held before a final decision is made.

The positions available are:

* chief of staff

* finance director

* director of academic affairs

* director of student diversity

* director of information technology

* director of government relations

* Ames City Council liaison

* director of safety, traffic and transportation

* director of public information

* director of student affairs

* secretary

* treasurer

Job descriptions will be available in the GSB office and online.

Banasiak and Albright said they hope to have selected students to fill each cabinet position by inauguration on April 15, and a senate bill to seat the cabinet will be presented April 16.
