Faculty Senate will review new policy for final examinations

The Faculty Senate will discuss new final examination policies at its meeting Tuesday night.

The senate will consider final examination policies pertaining to a need to reschedule an exam and to “special group exams.”

The appeals process for the governance council and a resolution on university policy toward United Way will also be considered, along with a proposal for a new masters of arts degree in rhetoric, composition and professional communication.

Election of officers and council heads will include electing positions for secretary of the Faculty Senate and heads of the Academic Affairs Council, Faculty Development and Administrative Relations, Governance Council, Judiciary and Appeals and Research Policy and Allocations.

The Faculty Senate will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the North Room of the Gateway Center.
