LETTER: Jimmy John’s out to rid competition

Jimmy John’s has been repeatedly reminded that the gyro man was there first. Why didn’t you open up across the street or stay where you were? Because that corner is premium. Why should he move? He is currently not in violation of anything and the reason no one cared before about these “violations” is because he runs a food stand, not a dining room. Everybody gets your position, it isn’t that complicated. What it comes down to is they like the gyro guy and they couldn’t give a crap about just another corporate sub shop. Smiles Inc. is unique, Jimmy John’s is not.

Gyro or no gyro, you are going to have drunks in your place using your toilet. Get used to it. As for the smoke, you should be thrilled to have the sweet smell of gyros in your joint.

Now that you’ve pissed everyone off, you keep defending your actions with the same nonsense. Well, it won’t work. No one is buying it. Just admit you wanted to put the hitch in his business to line your own pockets or sneak off with your tail between your legs, because you can’t dig yourself out of this hole.
