LETTER: Homosexuality is the wrong choice
February 25, 2003
The following is online feedback from the Feb. 24 editorial, “Same-sex partners need same benefits .”
Should my tax dollars go to subsidize this? This is not like subsidizing a war, where there may be disagreement as to the necessity of such an action. This brings nothing good to the table.
Homosexuality is a choice. I know the LGBTAA would like to have us all believe it is normal and wonderful, but it is not. If homosexuality thrives, our species will die, that is a biological fact. Two men, or two women, cannot have children — it takes a man and woman.
I hope the Union shoots this provision down. I doubt they will because their fearless leader Mr. Vilsack supports such immoral behavior, but you cannot justify this type of behavior to me, ever.
Call me closed-minded or hateful, and I will tell you I do not hate these people, but it is wrong, and you cannot fool me.
