The Senate of the Government of the Student Body will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Campanile Room of the Memorial Union for its first meeting of the semester.

GSB invites all ISU students to take part in the discussion of bills and senate orders.

The following bills will be presented for their first reading:

* A senate bill to prevent GSB senate members from also serving as president of their constituency councils due to potential conflicts of interests.

* A senate bill to give the GSB Finance Committee authorization to allocate the funds in the Fall Event Account after presidential recommendation to GSB Senate.

* A senate bill to ensure parallel wording in the GSB Bylaws by changing the wording in regards to the Appointment Committee in Bylaw 14.5.3.4.
