LETTER:Missing definition of AccessPlus abuse

I shamelessly begged to be added to full courses, but to no avail. However, there was a recurring theme: Check AccessPlus, and check it often.

Each time I check AccessPlus, and it is often, I always accept the Terms of Enrollment, for they seem reasonable. Except for the fourth term: Excessive hits or abuse of the system may result in a registration hold. Can anyone quantify “excessive hits” for me?

I was essentially “warned” by an associate in the LAS advising office that checking AccessPlus often would result in me being blocked from access. The associate did not know how many hits were deemed excessive.

Checking AccessPlus is the only way I will know if a class has an open seat. Being that students have thirteen hours a day, six days a week to change their schedules, it only makes sense that we should be allowed to check AccessPlus as often as we need, and to do so worry-free.
