LETTER:Big carpetbaggers are more insulting

The Daily’s Dec. 2 editorial, “Sept. 11 not safe from crass commercialism,” simply doesn’t go far enough.

What of those who profit from garbage like Thierry Meyssan’s book, “9/11, The Big Lie,” which suggests that the Pentagon was hit by an American missile?

This French author (and his American cohorts) are rolling in dough as his insulting book sells worldwide.

Add to that the baseless and utterly untrue statements of New Jersey poet laureate Amiri Baraka, whose poem, “Somebody Blew Up America,” implies that Israel had prior knowledge of the Sept. 11 attacks.

The T-shirt peddlers are the small fish. Go after the big fish.
