LETTER:Dining Service food dangerous

Dining Services has finally pushed me over the edge.

We all know that the food served in Dining Services doesn’t taste the greatest, and that probably won’t ever change, but that’s part of the whole college living experience.

But I think that one thing they should be able to do is serve hot food.

I eat at Friley Hall every day, and almost every time the food that is supposed to be hot it is not — it is room temperature. I microwave everything I get before I eat it.

I can understand that maybe once in a while it won’t be hot, but this is almost all the time.

But last week they finally pushed me over the edge.

They were serving hot dogs, and the one that I took was not hot, it wasn’t room temperature, it was cold to the touch. It felt as if it just came out of the refrigerator. I was so disgusted I put my tray right on the belt and left. I did put a complaint in the box next to the office once, but as far as I know nothing was done about it.

Hopefully Dining Services can do something about this, because not only is cold food unappetizing, it is also dangerous.
