When I was reading last week’s article relating to the next GSB meeting (GSB allocates $24,000 to student groups,” Oct. 30), I noticed a comment made by one of the members. Apparently the GSB is wondering why there have not been many groups requesting funding lately.

I have a great explanation for them. Maybe they should announce the time and location of their meetings as well as the date, particularly in the articles found in the Iowa State Daily. Maybe I’m stupid for wondering why I never see the location and time for GSB meetings, and it is something everyone is supposed to automatically know about. However, if they bother to publish their agenda in the Daily every week, they should also bother to give a location and time for the meeting as well as the date so that all the students who need to speak with them are able to.

If they really care about serving students, they need to do a better job of telling students how the GSB can be reached.
