On behalf of the Story County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), I want to thank the Government of the Student Body for voting to fund colposcope equipment for the ISU Thielen Student Health Center and the Mary Greeley Medical Center. The unanimous support for the bill demonstrates a tremendous commitment by GSB to the important issue of sexual assault. The equipment will assist Story County SART in building stronger criminal cases and better meeting the needs of sexual assault survivors. Special thanks to GSB Senator Raye Taylor for her leadership on this initiative. Story County SART relies on community collaboration for its success and welcomes GSB as a partner in making our community safer.
