Several questions come to my mind regarding Sarah Bolton’s complaint about the recent local-option sales tax that was voted on and passed in Story County. Did she vote? Did she encourage other students to vote no? If students had voted no, the weight of the student vote would have defeated the issue.

There is a reason why all the current political ads on TV are geared toward senior citizens’ issues — they vote and college students don’t! If college students want to catch the attention of politicians and policymakers they need to educate themselves on the issues and VOTE!
