The Government of the Student Body will discuss seating a new deputy director of disabilities at its meeting Wednesday.

Aaron Rubin, junior in performing arts, resigned from the position Sept. 16.

I could not have stayed on GSB because the GSB Constitution states you have to hold a 2.0 GPA minimum,Πhe said.

Rubin said he was about two-hundredths of a point short of the requirement.

Rubin said he asked GSB President T.J. Schneider to appoint Kedrin Moser, sophomore in psychology, to the position.

I think she¡ll do a good job there. She took really good interest in it and has a good interest in the community,Œ Rubin said.

He said Moser will continue projects already started.

Also up for discussion is a bill allocating more than $11,000 to the ISU Paintball Club for a field in Ames.

The money was actually allocated last year, but somehow it got reverted back into the special projects account,ΠSchneider said.

Joe Darr, GSB vice president, said the field will be a nice addition because any student can take advantage of it.

Darr expects to make an announcement on the Fall Event Series by next week.

Once we have it booked, we¡ll announce it,Œ Darr said.

Schneider said plans for the event are being finalized.
