In Brief

More than 100 retired ISU alumni gathered to hear an update on the Morrill Hall restoration fund-raising campaign from President Gregory Geoffroy on Friday at the Scheman Building.

Money for the restoration will come from private donations, Geoffroy told the group.

Geoffroy said the exterior as well as “key architectural components” can be preserved.

Once restored, Morrill Hall will be home to University Museums’ Art on Campus and Christian Petersen collections, the Center for Visual Learning in Textiles and Clothing and the Center for Teaching Excellence.
