Well, what do you know – the Iowa Board of Regents is going to raise tuition and fees again!

The GSB representatives will march down there and say this is “bad”and the Regents will raise tuition again.

Why?

Because students are unorganized and apathetic.

And those in power know this.

If the students of Iowa State, the University of Iowa and the University of Northern Iowa want to avoid this hike they need to UNITE!

The GSB needs to have all the students on board and active in the process. There need to be peaceful protests 60s style!

We need to insure that student voices are heard.

These voices will be heard if we re-elect Jane Greimann to the Iowa House and elect Herman Quirmbach to the Iowa Senate. Governor Tom Vilsack has already stated that the proposed tuition increases are “unacceptable.”

So stop the apathy and get involved in the process! Register to vote, then vote Nov. 5!
