The ISU men¡s golf team finished the day where it started ¢ in fourth place ¢ at the Kansas Fall Invitational.

The Cyclones carded a 294 in the final round, and finished the tournament with an 880, four strokes out of third place.

Jeremy Lyons paced the Cyclones for the second consecutive event, shooting an even-par 72 in the final round to finish with a 1-over-par 217.

Lyons¡ 217 placed him in a tie for sixth place overall.

Kevin Oswald finished in a tie for ninth place, one stroke behind Lyons. Oswald fired a final-round 74 after back-to-back rounds of 72 on Monday.

Iowa State returns to action next week Oct. 7¤8 at the Purina Classic in St. Louis, Mo.
