Junod, a native of Ankeny, ended her Iowa State career with a .282 batting average, including 113 hits, 41 runs, one home run and 29 RBI. Junod earned at-large second-team all-Big 12 honors as a sophomore.

Wallace to carry Iowa Games torch
Heisman Trophy candidate and ISU quarterback Seneca Wallace will help kick off the 16th Summer Iowa Games at its annual Torch Run on July 12.
The Torch Run will begin at noon with a loop through downtown Des Moines at US Bank. Immediately following the downtown loop, the Torch Run will depart from Des Moines and travel north via Highway 69 to Ames. The journey will culminate with the lighting of the Olympic-style cauldron at Jack Trice Stadium during the Opening Ceremony later that evening.
Wallace helped Iowa State to its second straight bowl bid last year. For his efforts, the Cyclone star was named the MVP of the Independence Bowl.
