Note from the Editor:

For Black History Month, the Voices section has put together a special collection of stories comprised of African Americans, events and cultural significant within the community at Iowa State. These stories are to highlight the experiences and work done by African American students, faculty and staff.

The 14 stories represent the first two weeks of Black History Month. At the end of the last week of Black History Month, there will be 14 more stories in a separate collection.
