LETTER:Watch out, campus groups

I would just like to take this opportunity to offer a word of advice to the heads of any campus organizations: Whenever possible, do your best to avoid going through campus organizations. Several organizations I am a part of, and several I’ve spoken to, have all told the same story: Campus Organizations and the ISU trademark office are on a mission to keep your from your funds in any way possible. I took a $300 hit today over “questionable material,” and I was told of someone who was bereft of three times that amount. So, in short, Organization Leaders, do whatever you can to avoid dealing with the university in promotional matters, lest you also get caught on a technicality.
