Pam and Kid Rock engaged

Pamela Anderson’s publicist confirmed Friday the actress is engaged to singer Kid Rock.

After Rock’s concert in Las Vegas, he apparently drove Anderson out to the desert where fellow rocker Uncle Kracker also arrived in a pink Cadillac wearing an Elvis Presley outfit. Rock then got down on one knee and proposed, and Anderson accepted.

No word yet on when the nuptials will take place.

Anderson is currently involved in a custody battle for her two children with ex-husband Tommy Lee. Rock also has an 8-year-old son with ex-girlfriend Kelly Russell.

Less than a month ago, Anderson announced she has hepatitis C, which can cause potentially dangerous liver damage.

She claims she got hepatitis from Lee, who used a shared tattoo needle on her. Lee denies this.

Family files suit for Biggie’s death

The family of famed rap artist Notorious B.I.G. is suing the Los Angeles Police Department for not doing enough to prevent Biggie’s murder in 1997. The family has filed a civil rights and wrongful death lawsuit againt the department.

Aerosmith joins `Spider-Man’

Aerosmith will lend its version of the “Theme from Spider-Man” to the upcoming movie soundtrack.

The soundtrack hits stores April 30.
