The legitimacy of the GSB Supreme Court ruling in Harvey v. GSB Election Commissioner is in question. Is the court above the law when it sets aside a state-imposed 20-day deadline to file contests on elections? Iowa Code 62.5 gives us the deadline and Section 57.6 says it is applicable.

The court’s opinion is correct but the way they accepted the case was illegal; this is the definition of misfeasance – an impeachable offense.

It’s not a question about specialty seats; it’s a question about the law.
