Once again, Take Back the Night was an outstanding success. Many thanks to all of those individuals and organizations in the community and on campus who came together to make it happen.

The event was organized by the Committee Against Violence, a student organization at Iowa State. The Women’s Center, ACCESS, Panhellenic Council, Inter-fraternity Council, FMLA, Nevada High School, ISU Groove, Ames Police Department, Department of Public Safety, the Story County Attorney’s office, the ISU Carver Scholars, CyRide, the Dean of Students, the women of Oak-Elm, the Student Activities Center and YWCA were all partners in the effort.

The YWCA appreciates all of the coverage given by the Iowa State Daily. But we can’t take the credit for the hard work of so many. Next year, the Committee Against Violence invites even more participation. Join us to make the campus and Ames safe.
