Findlay, Haugen, Manatt retirement receptions Friday
There will be a number of retirement receptions Friday afternoon.
There will be a reception for Robert Findlay, professor of architecture, and Lee Haugen, faculty development specialist for the Center for Teaching Excellence, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the College of Design forum north. A short program will begin at 2:30 p.m.
There will be a reception for Richard Manatt, university professor of educational leadership and policy studies, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Pioneer Room of the Memorial Union. There will be a short program at 4 p.m.
Vet association sponsoring Spring Dog Wash Sunday
Dirty dogs will have their day Sunday.
The ISU chapter of the American Veterinary Association is sponsoring the Spring Dog Wash. The wash will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments can be made by calling 294-4900.
Prices for the wash are: $8 for dogs weighing less than 30 lbs.; $10 for 30-60 lbs.; $12 for 60-90 lbs. dogs; and $14 for dogs weighing more than 90 lbs.
Services include brushing and toenail clipping.
