`Women in Touch’ registration due
Registration for the Sloss House Women’s Center “Women in Touch” luncheon is due at 4 p.m. Monday.
The luncheon, which is at noon April 23 in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union, will feature the presentation “Resisting Shadowed Spotlights: Race, Gender and Place in Academia,” by Beverlyn Lundy Allen, assistant professor of agricultural sociology.
Cost for the luncheon is $12. Those interested in attending should contact Marcia Purdy, secretary for the Women’s Center, at 294-4154.

Arab journalist last speaker in series
An Arab journalist will speak about Arab views of the American war on terrorism.
Rami Khouri, a Jordanian/Palestinian/U.S. journalist with experience reporting Middle Eastern news, will present “America, Terror and World: A View from the Arab World” 7 p.m. Monday in the Gallery Room of the Memorial Union.
Khouri is the last of ten speakers for the Institute on World Affairs “What is Terrorism?” series.

Reiman Gardens has new hours
Reiman Gardens is now operating under its new summer hours.
The gardens will now be open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
