Systems technology club to service lawn mowers

The Ag Systems Technology Club will host its annual Lawn Mower Service Days on Friday and Saturday.

Lawn mowers can be brought to the courtyard of Davidson Hall for servicing Friday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The service costs $30 for a push mower and $38 for a riding mower. Pick-up and delivery service is also available for an additional $13 for a push mower and $18 for a riding mower.

Forum Thursday on use of locally grown foods

There will be a forum Thursday on locally grown foods at university campuses.

Nadeem Siddiqui, director of Cornell University Dining Services in Ithaca, N.Y., will speak about the importance of using locally grown food and its incorporation into campus food services.

A panel of ISU students, faculty and staff will also discuss their views on the issue.

Siddiqui will speak Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Joan Bice Underwood Tearoom, 23 MacKay Hall.
