IRHA approves proposal making condoms available

The Inter-Residence Hall Association voted 20-0 to pass a proposal to make condoms available in C-Stores on campus. The proposal may face some opposition as it is read by administrators who feel condoms are already widely available in vending machines and at the Thielen Student Health Center.

A bill was also passed by unanimous consent to ratify the 2002 IRHA election ballot.

The two other orders up for discussion were postponed until the next meeting. They both involved the fate of the conferences committee.

The next meeting will be March 28 in the Gallery Room of the Memorial Union.
