Lorenzen will serve as relations director
Iowa State Biotechnology Industrial Liaison Lisa Lorenzen will expand her duties to serve as the university’s director of industry relations.
Lorenzen’s position is in the office of the vice provost for research and advanced studies. She will be a liaison between industry, both within and outside the state, and the university’s research and outreach activities.

Forum to discuss English-only law
The ISU chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union will present a panel discussion of the new English-only law at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Gallery Room of the Memorial Union.
The panel will feature Jose Amaya, assistant professor of English; Aiddy Phomvisay, temporary instructor of curriculum and instruction and Ames Middle School teacher; and Robert Baum, associate professor of religious studies.

Applications for Cy-Squad available
The Homecoming Central Committee is now accepting applications for Cy-Squad 2002. Applications are available at the Student Alumni Leadership Council’s Web site (www.isualum.org/student_programs/homecoming).
Applications are due Wednesday at 5 p.m. Interviews for positions will be the week after spring break.
