I am responding to the recent articles about athletic department staff member Charlie Partridge.

I think the information is clear that Charlie made a mistake. He has never misrepresented himself intentionally in any way. This is not to say that staff members who provide information for public review should not be careful in submitting and reviewing that information. If a person makes a mistake, admits to it and feels bad about it, it seems to me that there should not be several newspaper articles about this. We all make mistakes.

How about front page articles involving the athletic department about Cael Sanderson, Erica Junod or Seneca Wallace instead?
