GSB has every right to investigate the actions of the Daily, despite the recent editorial printed by the Daily editors (who, on a side note, have obliterated their own objectivity by stamping their names on the editorial poppycock). While the points brought to your attention by the Daily are correct and justified they have neglected to mention some subtle distinctions that are rather important.

While it’s true that GSB should not waste its time discussing every issue, such as the price of beer at Hy-Vee, it is more than justified in investigating organizations whose actions interest the student body and who receive GSB funding. GSB not only could but should investigate actions of organizations funded by them in order to keep those organizations accountable and legitimate. The Daily is very much one of those organizations at this point in time.
