Business/LAS Career Fair today in Hilton Coliseum
The annual Business/Liberal Arts and Sciences Career Day will be today from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hilton Coliseum.

Sharpton to speak Tuesday at Des Moines church
Rev. Al Sharpton will be speaking in Des Moines Tuesday Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. Sharpton, a national black activist, is being hosted by Concerned Citizens for Justice, a group of activists in Des Moines formed in the wake of Charles Lovelady’s death.
Creative Visions and the Des Moines Area Community College’s Urban Campus are also participating.
Sharpton will speak at the Union Baptist Church, E. University & McCormick.

Academic Challenge forms available starting tonight
In preparation for Academic Success Week, March 4-8, forms for the Academic Challenge will be available, beginning tonight.
Winners of the Academic Challenge, a contest challenging students to meet grade-point average goals, will switch places with a key administrator for a day.
Administrators involved in the contest include President Gregory Geoffroy and Vice President for Student Affairs Thomas Hill.
Designed to follow the theme of this year, “Challenging students to become their best,” the challenge is being organized by the Academic Success Center.
Contest forms will be made available on campus today until March 8.
