LETTER:Editors should get apology, jobs back

Aurelio Curbelo

I was reading about the firings of the three students at the Daily and I think it shows a lack of professionalism from the Daily administration. Where is our freedom of speech in this institution? Is there any left? The future of those students will be affected forever because someone did not agree with the comments they made.

I checked the ad personally from Toons to make my judgment and I found nothing offensive about it. I urge other students to inform themselves about this ridiculous situation and write their comments to the Daily. These students deserve an apology from the Daily staff and their jobs back right away. We can not let the personal interests of some people restrict our freedom of speech in this country.
