Free sign language lessons start tonight
The Alliance for Disability Awareness is sponsoring free sign language lessons each Wednesday in February.
The lessons will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. beginning tonight in the Cardinal Room of the Memorial Union.

`Business of Music’ has two speakers
The series on the `Business of Music’ will continue today with two speakers.
Jeffrey Vallier, senior firmware engineer with Guitar Corporation, will speak at noon in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union.
Vallier, a former ISU electrical engineering student, will speak about technical innovations in popular music.
Tackling the issue of women in the music industry, Carla DeSantis will speak at 8 p.m. in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union.
DeSantis is the editor of Rockrgrl magazine as well as founder and organizer of the ROCKRGRL conference for women musicians in Seattle.
She has provided commentary on VH1’s “From the Waste Down” and has written for Rolling Stone.
Both speakers are part of the Institute on National Affairs’ series “The Business of Music in America.”
Events are free and open to the public.
