Foo Fighters drummer clean
Taylor Hawkins, 29-year-old drummer for the Foo Fighters, admitted in an interview this week that drugs were the cause of his hospitalization five months ago.
Hawkins said that he is now sober and healthy and is not suffering any addiction-related problems.
The Foo Fighters are finishing material for their forthcoming album.
Jennifer Aniston involved in crash
“Friends” star Jennifer Aniston was slightly injured Tuesday when a Volkswagen backed out of its driveway and collided with her Jaguar in Los Angeles.
Aniston declined medical attention after the accident, although she reported feeling pain, according to Los Angeles police.
Aniston is currently promoting “The Good Girl,” her new movie due in theaters this spring.
Jon Stewart to host Grammys
Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” will host the 44th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 27.
This is the comedian’s second consecutive Grammy-hosting gig.
Stewart continues to produce new episodes of “The Daily Show.” He is also slated to appear in “Death to Smoochy,” an upcoming film. In addition, his first book, “Naked Pictures of Famous People,” has made the New York Times best seller list.
