Beatles soundtrack to debut Jan. 8
“I Am Sam,” a soundtrack album comprised of Beatles cover tunes, is due on retail shelves on Jan. 8. Sheryl Crow is the most recent addition to the lineup, which already includes Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper, the Black Crowes, Sarah McLachlan and the Wallflowers.
“I Am Sam” is a film starring Sean Penn and Michelle Pfeiffer about a mentally challenged man with an obsession for Beatles paraphernalia.
And Vedder’s already- released version of “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away” has garnered significant radio play.
