Reception, lectures are todayA farewell reception for Doug Lewis, associate professor of food science and human nutrition, will begin at 3 p.m. today in room 1009 LeBaron Hall.

Joe Vogel from Washington University in St. Louis, will present a microbiology lecture beginning at 4:10 p.m. today. The presentation, “Intracellular Replication of Legionella Pneumophila,” will be given in room 102 Science 1.

ISU President Gregory Geoffroy will give a presentation about research at the college level beginning at 8 p.m. today as part of the Sigma Xi series.

The lecture, “Research Universities – Past, Present and Future,” will be given in the Gallery Room of the Memorial Union.
