Volunteers can assist with giving tree
The ISU community is invited to assist with a giving tree sponsored by the Faculty Senate and Ames/ISU YMCA.
A tree in the senate office, 103 Lab of Mechanics, is decorated with tags containing wishes from children in CONNECT, an after-school program for Ames-area K-6 children identified as having lives in transition.
Volunteers select a tag and purchase the item for the child. Cash donations to the Ames/ISU YMCA also will be used to purchase gifts. Gifts need to brought to the senate office by Friday, Dec. 14. For more information, contact the senate office at 294-9717.
