Deadlines for tickets to Chicago Friday

The deadline for purchasing tickets for a round-trip, semester break bus to the Chicago area is Dec. 14. The chartered bus departs Dec. 21 and returns Jan. 13. Ticket cost is $80 round trip and can be purchased with cash or check at 110 Alumni Hall. Call 294-0801 for details.

Library copy cards will be changed

Parks Library will discontinue the use of its existing library copy card in July 2002. New readers will be installed on all photocopiers, with a new card payment system implemented.

The cash value on both red departmental and gold individual library copy cards will expire on June 30. No refunds will be given for unused value, and no cash value will be transferred from the existing card to the next card. Students are advised to add only as much value to their reusable copy card as they will spend by June 30, 2002.

Bowl spirit rally, party to be given

The Athletic Department and the Alumni Association will host a Spirit Rally from 4:30-7 p.m. on Dec. 26 in Festival Plaza in Shreveport, La. for all bowl-going Cyclone fans. Speakers will include President Gregory Geoffroy, Athletics Director Bruce Van De Velde, Alumni Association President Jeff Johnson, head football coach Dan McCarney, ISU football team, ISU Pep Band, Spirit Squad and Cy. There will be a $5 admission.

The Athletic Department and Alumni Association will host a pregame party from 1-4 p.m. Dec. 27 in the Festival Plaza. Admission is $1. A cash bar and tailgate food will be available.
