An ISU student accused of filing a false report will be sentenced at the Story County Courthouse in Nevada in early December, according to court records.

Katie Robb, sophomore in journalism and mass communication, pleaded guilty to “knowingly reporting false information concerning a felony to a law enforcement authority” after accusing four black males of kidnapping her from the ISU campus Aug. 28.

The next day, she told Department of Public Safety officials that the incident never occurred. Robb, 19, 4912 Mortensen Road #101, faces $1,500 in fines, up to a year in county jail or both.

Robb was to be sentenced on Nov. 20, but the hearing was moved to Dec. 5 at 9 a.m.
