Benefit to provide dance scholarships
The Dance Scholarship Benefit Concert will be in the Toman Studio Theatre, located in 196 Forker, on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5 or $10 at the door.
The performance will be put on by faculty, guest artists and senior dancers. Proceeds will benefit students seeking dance scholarships.
Saturdays Rock to feature 2nd Best
Saturdays Rock will feature Half the Facts, 8 Miles Out and National Fire Theory with headliner 2nd Best. The show starts at 6 p.m. and costs $5.
President asks for network’s help
President Bush has asked the Fox TV network to produce a special version of “America’s Most Wanted” this week to publicize the names and faces of several suspected global terrorists.
The show will be called “America’s Most Wanted Special Edition: Terrorists.”
Comedian receives five years probation
Comedian Paula Poundstone, who was accused of child endangerment and inflicting injury on a child, pleaded no contest to the charges. She received five years probation and ongoing alcohol rehabilitation treatment.
