Belarusian painter to lecture on art in modern society

A free lecture and painting exhibition will be given by Belarusian artist Stanislavas Sugintas in the Pioneer Room of the Memorial Union Tuesday at noon.

The lecture, “The Artist and His Muse: An Intimate Relationship,” will discuss Sugintas’ attempts to preserve a classical style of art in the context of technological advances.
