Professor from East Africa to speak on her life and work
Equal-opportunities advocate Leah Marangu, the first woman in East Africa to be named a full professor, will speak about her life and work at 8 p.m. in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union.
Marangu, vice chancellor for the Africa Nazarene University in Kenya, is a founding member and president of the Home Economics Association for Africa, the first chairwoman of the board of directors of Jomo Kenyatta Foundation and a member of the Kenya Institute of Education.
