I hope that I was not the only person amused by the Sept. 27 Daily opinion pages, which featured both a letter complaining about your “left-wing stance on every issue” and an editorial against Ames’ recent no smoking ordinance. I was unaware that opposition to government interference in the private sector was a liberal attitude.

Sometimes you surprise me, Daily. Do keep it up.
