Veishea committee applications available
Veishea committee applications for 2002 are available at the West Student Office Space in the Memorial Union and are due 5 p.m. Friday.
Applications, descriptions and information can be downloaded at www.veishea.org.
Applicants should sign up for an interview when applications are dropped off, and interviews will take place during the evenings from Oct. 8 to Oct. 11. Positions will be posted in the West Student Office Space Oct. 12.

Ames town budget meeting tonight
The city of Ames will be holding its annual town budget meeting at 7 tonight in the City Council Chambers, 515 Clark Ave.
The public is encouraged to come to give input and suggestions about budget priorities.
Suggestions will be passed along to Mayor Ted Tedesco, the city council and department heads to be considered when they make the budget for the 2002-2003 fiscal year, which starts July 1.
The meeting will be aired on Cable TV Channel 12. Those who can not come to the meeting are encouraged to call 239-5214 during the program and give suggestions. Questions may also be sent via e-mail to [email protected].
